HALLOWEEN IS HERE!!

Today was a fun Halloween. We started the day off with a Stephens' family Halloween tradition. All the grandkids go trick or treating at Grandpa Craig's work, and grandma came too. As you can see there was a witch, two cowboy's, flower, cow, and spider.
Here they are in action......Trick or Treat!!!

Grandpa with Livy the cow.

I think Colton had a crush on this devil....she was pretty cute.

After grandpa's work we ventured up to the U of U hospital to visit Jaime who is getting ready to have her baby. For some reason I forgot to take pictures there. Jaime is a great aunt, the kids had fun visiting her.
Later on Colton was having fun carving pumpkins with dad....And in dad's shirt nonetheless!!

Livy stood (or should I say sat) by and watched.

Time for trick or treating....Colton's buddy (monkey) Ethan came over to trick or treat with him. They had so much fun riding in the wagon. Here they are showing us the candy they have just put in thier mouths. They couldn't wait til they got home to eat it.

Colton with Livy as we are getting ready to take off. I know she's not a cow. She had been wearing her costume all day. So tonight she was a flower.

Our day is done. Colton and Ethan got plenty of candy and had plenty of fun. I did too!!! :)

Ward Halloween Party

The ward Halloween party was on Tuesday. It was really very fun! Colton had the best time. Here's our little cowboy!!
Our little cow with her big brother.

Colton the cowboy with our little neighbor Ainslee the ballerina.

Colton wanted to try musical chairs. All the kids playing were older and I wasn't sure how he would do. Some older cute girls in our ward helped him. It was really cute. He got the hang of it.

Colton made it to the finals!!! It was between him and one other little boy. Unfortunately, Colton lossed:(

Colton with one of his very best buddies Ethan. Ethan is a monkey and his baby brother is a banana.

Colton wanted his face painted.

He chose a spider.

For some reasons these next pictures are out of order. Here is Colton with another buddy Jacob. They were suppose to eat the doughnut off of the string without any hands. That didn't last long, they gave up and used their hands.

Woody and Buzz Lightyear.

Colton also did a cake walk, bowling and won some prizes. There was also a spook alley. It was a fun Halloween party.

WE DID IT!!

My friend Jocelyn and I took up running this summer. It has been a great way to lose my baby weight and just get out of the house and get our exercise. I finally have a buddy who's as passionate about exercise as I am. I tell her she is my personal trainer, and keeps me motivated. I haven't always been excited about running, but I have been loving it!! We like to have goals and work towards something, so we are now into running races. We ran a 10k at the U of U all women's race early this fall. This is us after that race.

Then we took a road trip to St. George last weekend to run our second 10k. Jocelyn grew up there. We ran in the Save a Sister race. Jocelyn took third in her age category. And I was twelfth in mine. (Give me a break my category was with the youngin's, jk Jocelyn) The really good news is that we improved our time, only by a few minutes but every minute counts. Here we are at the end of our race in action.

Yes I know I look hot. Go easy on me I just ran a race.:)

We had a lot of fun in St.George, the weather was so nice. That night we went to THRILLER at Tuacon it was amazing and sooo much fun!! Thanks for running with me Jocelyn. Can't wait for Moab in December!!

More fall pictures at Gardner Village

The family pictures were kinda rough. It was pouring rain and we were all a little frazzled. Hillary did a great job, considering the circumstances.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!

Fun fall weekend

FARNSWORTH FARM

Our nice neighbors, The Guths, called us friday as we were leaving out the door to go to dinner, and asked if we wanted to go to the Pumpkin festival at Farnsworth Farm. We thought it sounded fun so we met up with them after we had Chinese food at Fong's. They had a lot going on at the festival, the movie "Charlie Brown's Great Pumpkin Patch" was playing on the side of a big truck, they had a pumpkin patch where you could go pick your pumpkins, they were giving hayrides and selling hot apple cider. (Which was sooo yummy! I guess they are a cider mill as well.) It was a cute place and such nice weather. It was a fun night! Also, as we were just getting there we ran into Mike Hammer and his cute little family. It was fun to see him. Thanks Guths for inviting us.:)

The Guth's have three cute little girls, here's Colton with two of them London and Kennedy. They are waiting in line for the hayride under the stars.

London, Colton and Kennedy on the hayride. Dad's doing bunny ears in the background.
Josh and Livy cuddling to keep warm. :)
This was the best picture Josh could take of me and the kids. Oh well!

FRIGHTMARES AT LAGOON

Last year The Stephens' family started a tradition to go to Frightmares in October. I had a lot more fun this year than last, because last year I was pregnant with Livy. We had a great time. Grandma and Grandpa were there, Quin and Whit, Emrie, Keaton, Emily, Owen, Lola, and Joel and Nicole. Grandma packed a lunch for us and we spent the whole day going on rides. My favorite was the "classic" white roller coaster. We went on it twice. It was hilarious listening to Quin giggle like a child on it.

Colton had sooo much fun on the rides with his cousins. Here he is with his cousin Emrie.

I've been told I need to make more appearances on my blog, this picture is about as good as it gets with Josh taking the picture. Love ya anyways hun! :) Good ole' Puff the Magic Dragon.

Colton on the airplane with Owen. When I asked Colton which ride he liked the most, he told me the airplane ride. So here he is on his favorite ride.
Dinging the bell! The classic lagoon kiddie boats.

Colton, Emrie and Keaton, they had so much fun on rides together. I could not believe all the rides little keaty went on. He is only 1 1/2 years old. He wants to be just like the big kids. What a little stud!

Here is my little cowboy, he didn't quite get that he was just supposed to stick his head through without hands. Oh well!
Josh and Colton at the end of the log ride in Pioneer Village.
Emrie and Colton on the "car" ride.
I love this picture, riding off into the sunset. :)
It was a great day at Lagoon!!!
