Abigail's Baby Blessing

Abby's baby blessing was on a beautiful fall morning. This September has been warm and beautiful everyday. Daddy gave Abby a really neat blessing. Abby wore the same blessing dress that big sis Olivia wore on her special day. Grandma Robin embroidered Olivia's and Abigail's names and date of blessing on the dress. Mommy loves it!!! I didn't take near enough pictures of the day.....I guess I was too busy. After church we had all our friends and family over to our house for brunch. We had a few egg casseroles, yummy cinnamon rolls, fruit, punch and cookies and brownies.....it was delicious! The best part was celebrating our special little Abby's day with all the people we love.

Labor Day in Flaming Gorge

Every Labor Day we spend in Flaming Gorge at Bob and Jackie's (Josh's aunt and uncle) cabin. It is a very fun Stephens' family tradition. Since the family keeps growing, we no longer can fit everyone in the cabin so some of us stayed at a nearby KOA which turned out nicely for the kids because they could play on the playground and swim in the pool.

The first morning there, Colton and Livy jumped in their swimming suits and played at the playground and at the pool.

They had a lot of fun swimming with dad and grandpa.

Baby Abby was not even two months old yet.....no swimming for her.

On Saturday morning there is a Manila town parade to celebrate Labor Day. The kids have a blast, because they get to see some interesting things and fill their bags up with candy.

After the parade we head over to the Green River for a day of river rafting.

Beautiful Sheep's Creek.....

Grandpa Kelly and his girlfriend Bernie were spending the same weekend in Flaming Gorge, so we met up with them to watch the fireworks Saturday night on a boat with some friends.

There is always a really good fireworks show over the Lake on that Saturday night, the kids bring their candy they collected from the parade to enjoy.

I had to sneak a picture of Uncle Joel sleeping with Abby.....so cute!

Grandma Robin always brings a lot of fun toys, games and activities for the kids to do at the cabin. These little rockets the kids played with at the cabin....and had a BLAST!

On Sunday we head over to the town park for a BBQ. Grandma brings all her fun activities.

Here the kids decorated their own little visors with paints and stickers. There were also games, a scavenger hunt for gold coins that you would buy prizes with, and sidewalk chalk. Josh is where he belongs at the BBQ. As always it was another fun Labor Day weekend. Can't wait for next year!
