I thought I loved you then.......

Seven years ago..........

Yes I know we look like we are twelve.:)

Saturday Josh and I celebrated our seventh wedding anniversary! In seven years we've come a long way and yet it truly feels like it was just yesterday. We were reminiscing on Saturday and we recalled that in seven years we've had two children, three dogs, 1 apartment and four houses if you include (the rental), many cars (Josh's hobby), some funerals:(, many weddings, many vacations, two businesses, many callings, baby births and blessings (nieces, nephews and friends), 7 Christmases, 7 new years, lots of dates, 1 back surgery, 1 half marathon, many boating trips, lots of birthday parties, etc........You get the picture. It's been quite the journey thus far. We have been so blessed. I love sharing my life with Josh. We've had many ups and some downs, but overall we are so happy and after seven years we still like each other ALOT!!!

Josh knows how much I LOVE flowers, he got me these beautiful flowers for our anniversary. It was very thoughtful of him because he had them made to mimic the centerpieces at our wedding reception.

My mom was nice enough to come to our house to watch our kids on Saturday. We had the whole day to ourselves to PLAY!! We started our day off with one of Josh's favorite things, Jamba juice. Then we headed up to the outlet stores in Park City, where we had a lot of fun shopping WITHOUT kids.:) Next we headed up to the Alpine Slides and Coaster here we are on the chairlift on our way up the mountain side.

Josh is still quite the gentleman, he wouldn't let me carry my own sled.

At the top of the mountain, before we headed down the Alpine Slide.

We had so much fun on the slide, the best part was that I beat Josh down. He claims that his sled was falling apart because half way down he heard a "screw" fall off. Turns out that "Screw" falling off of his sled wasn't a screw at all, it was his car key falling out of his pocket and onto the slide. Who knows where it is now. Let's just say that we were so glad I had my key to his car in my purse. We also went on the Alpine coaster, which is new and we had never been on it. It was sooo fun and very fast! I was s.o.l. because Josh was the one in control of the brakes, which he didn't really use until we had to slow down at the end.

We ended our fun day at one of my favorite restaurants Baja Cantina. Dessert was at The Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory, which is conveniently next door.:) It was a perfect day!!
HAPPY ANNIVERSARY JOSH! As quoted in a great song...."We've come so far since that day, and I thought I loved you then."

Peekaboo Family Photos

For Olivia's first birthday I took her to Peekaboo Photos to have her picture taken. After three hours of trying, (poor Katie) this is about what all Livy's pictures turned out like. It was a bummer too, because I brought Colton to get some shots of him, three different outfits for Livy, and Peekaboo is in Pleasant Grove so it's quite a drive.

The photographer Katie, emailed me later and asked if I could bring Livy back up another day to try again. I said that would be great and asked if we could get some family pictures taken while we were there. So after all the effort we finally ended up with some great pictures. I love Peekaboo, they do an amazing job!!

Olivia wasn't smiling in this shot so Josh used Photoshop and swapped her head. It looks great! I'm so impressed with him. He also changed the coloring. I love it!

Both times we went up to Peekaboo, Colton did an awesome job!! He would smile when she asked him to smile and be serious when she asked him to be serious. He was quite the little model, he even seemed to be enjoying it. I hope that rubs off on his sister.

Yay! We got a smile!

Our bird's nest!

We were playing out in our yard the other day and Colton and Josh found a bird's nest in one of our trees. And that's not all, it had two blue robin's eggs inside. It was so exciting! It doesn't take much to excite our family. We are keeping watch on the cute little nest.:) Mama bird is very protective of her nest we hear her outside our window singing all the day long.

Colton had fun playing in the water, on one of the few warm days we've had so far.

Oh how I LOVE flowers!! They make me sooo happy! Here are a few of our favorites from our yard.

The pictures I took of our tulips didn't do justice to them. Josh and I planted lots of them last fall and have been enjoying them this spring.

I LOVE SPRING!!!
