The Superkickers

Today Colton started soccer. It was very exciting! He is on a team with his buddy and neighbor Tyson. He has never played soccer before....however, he was in a program called soccer buddies as a 2-3 year old. In soccer buddies they played games and did soccer skills but didn't ever really play the game so this is a new adventure for us. He looked so cute in his uniform that drowns his little body. Yesterday he went with dad to Sports Authority where they  bought a soccer ball to practice with and shin guards and cleats

It took some warming up, but Colton started to get the hang of it and understand how to play by the end of the game. He definintely wasn't very aggressive with the ball....but the few times he did get the ball he ran with it.....the only problem was that he dribbled it to the wrong teams' goal. Oh well, it was so fun to watch and cheer for him. His coach Emily is really fun and nice, her daughter is on the team. Coach Emily said that Colton is a very fast runner, which he really is......now we just need to teach him to run fast with the ball towards the right goal.

GO SUPERKICKERS!!

The newest little members of the Stephens' Family

We are so excited to get two new nieces this month. Charolette Emmie (Charly) and Libby Lucielle. They were born about a week apart and they are both so adorable and sweet. Charly was born to Josh's brother Mitch, and his wife Emily. And Libby was born to Josh's other brother Quin, and his wife Whitney. Seeing the new babies did make me very excited for our new little one to come. It's going to be very fun having three little girls all the same age. They will be great friends.

Happy Easter!

Happy Easter! We had a fun-filled day at our house today. It was General Conference so we didn't get to dress up in our Easter clothes for church....however, I somehow convinced Colton and Olivia to get all dressed up so I could take pictures of them. Yay! It didn't last long though.

We went outside to get some pictures with the flowers.....it was chilly and windy.

Smelling the flowers.

We had an Easter brunch at our house. Nana Ann, Grandpa Kelly and Aunt Natalie came over. We had  ham, egg casserole, fruit, and cinnamon rolls. It was so yummy!

Nana Ann brought some bunny ears for the kids.

Grandpa tried on the pink bunny ears.

Later that evening we went to Grandma and Grandpa Stephens for an easter egg hunt and dinner. Here is Livy, Keaton and Wynter with grandpa Craig.

Easter egg hunt outside.....(The adult easter egg hunt was outside)

The children's easter egg hunt was inside.

Colton's big gift at grandma's was a batman helicopter.....he loved flying it with his cousins.

Colton and Emrie cuddling up on the chair watching a movie.

I didn't get a picture of Livy with her big gift at grandmas but it was a Barbie Doll.  It was a great Easter Day!!!!

Happy Birthday Olivia!!

Happy 2nd Birthday Olivia!! We had a little family party today to celebrate Olivia turning 2! She is very into princesses and babies and shoes right now. So we decided to have a princess party. This is a picture of her amazing cake. No I did not make it, I cannot take the credit....a friend of the Stephens' family bakes and decorates cakes and does an incredible job. Her cakes are my favorite part of our parties.

Olivia with her cousin Emrie....Emrie dressed up as Sleeping Beauty.

Me and Olivia with my sis Natalie.

One of the games we played was kiss the frog......we also had a little Easter egg hunt since Easter is tomorrow. Once the kids each found two eggs that were already colored, they got to decorate them with princess or sports stickers.

Present time......Olivia got lots of fun things...Princess shoes (she is obsessed!) , books, a purse, chalkboard/dry erase board, a baby, a pack and play for her baby and crib. Her big gift from mom and dad was a Dora tricycle.

Livy with her shoes.....

reading her new books.......

her new baby from grandma......

She loves this baby, she makes real baby noises.

Livy on her new trike.

Pinata time!!! We got Olivia a princess pinata where you just pull the strings, but the kids, especially the boys, wanted to hit it the old fashioned way, with a bat.

Even Olivia had to hit it.

Once all the goodies and candy fell out the kids filled up their buckets.

Olivia had a great day!!
