Viva Las Vegas
Last weekend we took a somewhat last minute trip to Las Vegas hoping to find some sunshine. We had a great time. I wouldn't say it was really relaxing...we took the kids, but it was a lot of fun. We went with our friends and neighbors, the Guths. We also met up with another family from our neighborhood, the Barlows who were going to be there two of the nights that we were. They were on thier way to California. We stayed at the Hilton Grand Vacations Club on the strip. We love staying at Hilton's hotels, but we had never stayed here and I highly recommend it. One of my favorite things about it was there was no casino in the hotel...yay! Here are a few pictures of the highlights of our trip. We took the kids to lunch one day at The Rainforest Cafe, all together there were 8 kids with us, they had a great time. Colton had so much fun looking at all the animals, he especially loved the aquarium of fish. Olivia thought the thunder and rain storms were neat. She would look up to the ceiling and say ohhhhh! Colton is holding the tiger he picked out at the Rainforest toy store.
Here's the whole gang. (except Peter who had to work and Regan who's taking the picture)

After The Rainforest Cafe we took the kids over to the Gameworks Store, which has the M&M and Coca Cola factory. Colton had fun climbing all over the big blue m&m. He also got to pick out some m&m's out of the big m&m bins, out of allllll the colors he wanted only green.
One of the days we went to a fun outdoor shopping center called Town Square. It is a really fun place they have great shopping and places to eat. We ate at the California Pizza Kitchen and then went to play in the park that is located in the center of Town Square. Here are some pictures of Colton playing on the playground.

OUR SUNNY DAY!!! Saturday was the only perfect, beautiful day. It got up to 77 degrees, so this was our swimming day. Here we are swimming and having fun in the sun. It was Olivia's first time swimming where she really got in the water with us and played in her floaty.
