SURPRISE!!!! Josh threw me a surprise party for my 30th birthday! He was pretty sneaky, he told me he was taking me out to a nice place for dinner and we hadn't been there before. He blindfolded me so it would be a surprise where we were going. At first I thought maybe a bunch of my friends were waiting at this restaurant and that was why he blindfolded me. He drove around in circles for awhile, because he was taking me to a place by our house so he tried to confuse me. Once we got to our destination, he kept me blindfolded and lead me inside. At this point I started getting really nervous about what he was up to. I had a feeling I was about to be really embarrassed. He lead me into the building and into an elevator. By this time I really was confused where we were since we got in an elevator. Once the door opened we walked a short distance and it was really quiet. He told me he was going to take off my blindfold and SURPRISE!!! There I was standing in front of so many of my friends and family all staring at me and yelling surprise! I definitely was surprised and embarrassed. I'm not the type who likes all eyes on me. But I do love parties and Josh had planned a really fun one. I was very happy and very impressed.
I didn't catch a picture of my cake before it got cut into. If you can't tell from the picture, it is a beach with palm trees and a sunset in the background. One of my favorite places to be. It was a pretty cake and tasted even better than it looked.

All my good friends from my neighborhood where there. In fact Wendy, the second from the right made all the yummy food. She is a great cook and made my favorite, Mexican food. This picture is me with my friends, the Scheels, the Guths and the Barlows. Notice the centerpiece on the table. Josh came up with these all by himself. They are glass vases with beta fish swimming around in them. I guess to go along with "the beach" theme. He is quite creative!
